“Pyramidal is the solo project of Joran Bakx. It is a hip hop instrumental collage of electronic experiments and creative songs. A heavy low-end feel and a drum drive with calm, subtle melodies that fill each track, allures and entrances the audience. The percussive loops are keenly paced and mixed between metrical compositions and sudden stops. Coming out of the Netherlands, Pyramidal brings out ‘Change of Heart’ with the indicatively placed expression on each song title; (i.e. “Break Through,” “Feel the Sun,” “It Was Good Tonight,” “The Blues.”) Being the first full-length release by Pyramidal, any listener can hear small amounts of field recordings and great beats that bounce with ease and satisfaction. ‘Change of Heart’ is well-built and not overly stuffed, standing on a ten-tracked listening trek. It’s the newest release, Pyramidal ‘Change of Heart.'”
