Deep, mind-bending psych. I don't know how it was put together, but it feels very organic, like early Nurse With Wound. I could see Gordon, Dilloway, and Nace sitting among a pile of junk and miles of tape, splicing together this album piece by piece. Levrikon

Sonic Youth is one of those bands where you easily run out of superlatives to describe what they created. This could've easily come off as a cynical cash-grab by a band that had broken up 11 years prior to the release of this record, but that's not what this is. I wish the songs were longer. The consistency is spot on but there's plenty of room for them to expand, to linger more, I'm sure that none of them would've overstayed their welcome if they were longer. Nonetheless, great album ! yourcolleague
