"Some bands think they’re spaced out. Forget the Times are floating in suspended animation, playing their instruments from their heart as God intended. This album isn’t for everyone. I couldn’t play this for my mom, she doesn’t even like Tom Waits for christ sake. This is avant-core. This isn’t for parents afraid of letting their kids join the arts, this is what their kids join the arts for. My mind has been thoroughly melted while listening to this album. I wanna line up every oppressing figure throughout history and rip their intestines out with my bare hands hearing this album. Forget the Times aren’t your average, garden variety, amateur night at the high school talent show band. They will rain blood from the sky, but in a beautiful, artistic way. If Jesus played guitar, he’d be Kurt Cobain. If some good ole angels formed an improvised jazz band, they’d have this record. If you’re already dead anyway, you might as well go to heaven, or maybe you’re more into hell, either way, I’m sure they’ll be playing this in both. Maybe life’s made up and the points don’t matter, who cares, let’s see how this 'Plays Out'."
